A NISKA spring snow goose hunt in Missouri

March · Hunt only

Missouri

As the migration climbs the flyway, we climb with it. Fresh birds almost daily when the weather cooperates — fully guided days in the middle leg of the spring push.

How Missouri works

We guide.
You bunk nearby.

Missouri is hunt-only — no lodge on this leg. You set up your own lodging in a nearby town (we'll tell you exactly where to stay once we know where the birds are), meet us dark and early, and we take it from there.

  • Fully guided, all day hunt
  • Big full body spreads, comfortable A-frame blinds
  • Scouted the night before — you hunt where the birds are that week
  • Bird cleaning available for $2 a bird

Missouri questions

FAQ

Is there lodging in Missouri?

No — Missouri is hunt-only. You handle your own lodging nearby, and once your dates are set we'll tell you exactly which town to stay in so you're close to the fields. Want the full lodge experience? That's our Arkansas leg.

When is the Missouri leg?

March, as the migration climbs out of Arkansas. It moves with the weather — tell us your window and we'll be straight with you about timing.

What license do I need?

Missouri's spring conservation order permit, available online from the Missouri Department of Conservation. It takes a few minutes — we'll send you the link and walk you through it before your trip.

Where do we meet?

We scout the night before and text you the meet-up spot and time — usually a gas station or field entrance close to the X. Expect an early alarm.

What should I bring?

A 12-gauge, non-toxic shot, ear protection, and warm waterproof layers. First-timers welcome — spring snows are the best first goose hunt there is.

How does booking work?

Call, text, or send an inquiry and the owner will get back to you, usually same day. A deposit locks your dates; the balance is due before the hunt.
